This photo taken from the roof top of our house shows you the snow on tope of the mountains. This was taken last year. So far this year, we have no snow and it is june 2010. I am resting today because I have a cold and sore throat which is due to the changeable weather here in Cochabamba at this time of the year. Today there is a cookout for the students as the first semester of the study of Spanish is finished. I do not have too much identification with these students since I have been busy teaching English with the Franciscans at their church in Hospicio which is about a ten minute taxi ride from here our Society house here in Cala Cala which is in the northern part of Cochabamba and near the mountains as you can see.
Tomorrow is a reflection Day with the personnel here at the Maryknoll mission Center. The reflection will not be here but outside of here about a 25 minute drive from here at a restaurnat.
I will not be attending that either but just resting and with the hope that I can get rid of this cold by Monday.
I hope that your Doctor friend is recovering and also his son from the motorcycle accident. And also you as well with the terrible incident at the school with the young boy.
It just says how fragile life is these days and that we have to be careful.
