Dear Thomas,

This a photo of the Trappist Sisters monastery in Quilvo, Chile. I visited this monastery last January and also visited a friend of mine, Father George Peterson. A trappist monk. This monastery is near the town of Curico where I lived for a few years with other Maryknoll Brothers. I was teaching at the Catholic University at the time.

I feel a little tired this Sunday afternoon which is the 4th of July. We celebrated our Independence Day which was in 1776 from Great Britain. We had around 30 people with us and most were from Maryknoll, priests, Brothers and Sisters as well as some lay people. We started at 1 p.m. and our Maryknoll seminarian who is Korean American who did the cooking of hamburgerss and frankfurters. Also potatoe salad and other snacks that are related to this holiday.

I got an e-mail from your brother benny and he said that he brought a cake to share with the people that he is taking care of.And you are now getting ready for a new school year and i hope that your got some new students for your school.I went to Mass at Hospicio, the Franciscan Church this morning at 7:30 a.m. and I also helped to give out communion to the people as well. The old timer Father Remedio had the Mass. he is 80 years old and is from Italy. He has been in Bolivia for many years. On Saturday morning I went to the Franciscan Church of St. Francis of Assisi to have Mass celebrated at 7 p.m. for your birthday as well as for your brother Benny.
I then went to St. Dominic church for confession to Father Paulino a diocesan priest here in Cochabamba and he is always very kind to me.So it has been a busy week end and I was able to get some sleep this Sunday afternoon at 4 p.m.While I am writing this to you I am also listening to patriotic music from my home in Boston, Massachusetts on my computer through the internet. Which is http://www.wcrb.com/ and it is classical music that is played 24 hours a day. I don't know if you are familiar to classical music which would be so different from the music in your own country.I just finished also writing the blog for myself which I sare with you and send an e-mail on this for you and your brother to read.Well this is all the news that I have to say on this Sunday evening which is now Monday morning in India.
Let us pray for each other in that our friendship as Brothers continues to be strengthened this is very important as you well know Thomas.
Have a nice day now.your
brotherFrank.
with a lot of love
